Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Northumberland Contract: Flexible / Ad Hoc (with potential for ongoing opportunities) Employer: The Supply Register (on behalf of Northumberland College) Looking for flexible opportunities within Further Education? This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or individuals looking to gain experience within a supportive college environment. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learners both in and out of the classroom. Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners
Support students with additional learning needs and varying abilities
Assist lecturers in delivering engaging lessons
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Support students with academic tasks and personal development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, proactive, and supportive approach
Ability to build positive relationships with learners and staff
Desirable: Degree or relevant qualification
Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults
Interest in teaching, SEN, or support roles
