Kitchen Assistant
Location: Cumbria
Salary: NMW
Hours: 16 to 24 hours
Duration: Permanent
Driving License Required due to location

Job Purpose and Details:
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to work in our Lakeland Larder based in Cumbria.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be delivering simple but high-quality food, ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality.

• Part Time Position (flexible hours)
• Weekend working

Key Duties will include:

• Preparing food including; Breakfast rolls, Burgers, Pizza's, Hot Dog's
• Ensuring that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
• Maintaining excellent standards
• Preparation and cooking
• Cleaning down the surfaces and appliances before closure
• Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
• To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
• To provide excellent customer service when taking orders, payments and serving food
• To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager

Skills required:

• Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
• Good communication skills
• Be willing to learn
• Comfortable with lone working
• The Right to Work in the UK
• A driving license & access to a vehicle (OR) alternative, reliable method of transport (please note that public transport does not take you directly to the park
• Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to work towards
