Cardiac Surgery ICU PA - Cape Cod Healthcare - Cape Cod, Massachusetts - Live and Work Oceanside: Looking for Cardiac Surgery PA to join our dynamic cardiac Surgery Team at Cape Cod Hospital in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

This is an opportunity for an advanced practice provider, PA to join our practice and work in this exciting environment with a great scope of practice.  We work with our cardiac surgeons to provide a high level of care for this cardiac surgery program.  The position requires care throughout the patient’s journey from initial consult to pre-operative readiness, to a heavy emphasis on post-operative ICU care with management of hemodynamics including swan catheters, central lines and chest tubes.  Additionally, the position is responsible for care in the cardiac surgery step-down unit as the patients transitions toward discharge.

This will have the advanced practice provider working dynamically in our cardiac surgery team with a great scope of practice.  The position entails working days and nights as a rotation along with weekends and holidays.  The schedule encompasses working 12 hour shifts.  Critical care experience is needed for this advanced practiced clinician.
