From maintaining safe, welcoming spaces to providing great customer service, you’ll play a key role in keeping our business parks running smoothly and professionally.
What You Will Be Doing;
- Carrying out day‑to‑day site tasks including cleaning, health and safety checks, basic repairs, and general maintenance.
- Supporting the smooth running of buildings through security duties, meeting room support, alarm checks, and winter preparedness.
- Working in a busy, public‑facing environment—acting as a positive and professional ambassador for Lancashire County Council.
- Using basic tools and equipment safely, undertaking minor repairs, and completing manual handling tasks as required.
- Working independently and as part of a wider team to ensure high standards of service and site presentation.
What We’re Looking For;
- Friendly, approachable individuals with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work without close supervision, prioritise tasks, and adapt in a fast‑moving environment.
- Confidence using basic tools, lifting equipment safely, and carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Awareness of health and safety and willingness to follow emergency procedures and safe working practices.
- Commitment to developing skills, completing required training, and progressing to Grade 4.
