Learning Support Assistant – Further Education

Location: Derbyshire
Pay: £13/hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE)
Contract: Temp, with potential to go temp‑to‑perm
Start: ASAP

We’re working with a well‑regarded Ofsted‑rated FE college in the Derbyshire area looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support 16–18 learners on a 1:1 or small‑group basis across vocational areas (construction, beauty, etc.). The role includes working discreetly in mainstream classes and supporting tutors with initiative.

Requirements:

• Level 2 Maths and English essential
• FE experience preferred but not essential – we’ll consider those new to learning support who understand individual learner needs beyond diagnosis
• Calm, respectful and confident in a vocational college setting
• Realistic commute is important
